alternative space

cai guo quiang's exhibit caught my eye more than any of the others simply because of the awesomeness of the idea. the way that everything is so intense and you dont really know what to think of it no matter how many times you look at it is really something neat. While i dont intend (although i wish i could) to make an exhibit nearly as interestingly out of the ordinary, i do intend for mine to be a little bit different that then traditional make a painting, hang it up, and put a title and description under it in fine print. i want mine to look like a person (me) and with the audio, it's going to tell a story through the headphones that "i" was previously "listening" to (the replica will have 3 splitters, two coming out of the one so that i can have four headsets going at once) the people at my post. i dont know if i want to try to elaborate and make it crazy like cai's at the very last moment, but at the end, it'll be what it it'll be and i'm going to be happy with that.
